Del Jones aka Nana Kuntu, the War Correspondent
Del Jones, W.C. earned his Associates Degree from the school of hard knocks, his Bachelor of Science was in organizing in the streets and on college campuses. His Master's Degree was in dissecting the media's deceptions, distortions, lies, half-truths, and re-presenting it back to the people in its true form. As a result of all of these experiences, he earned the credentials of a Revolutionary, Pan-Afrikanist and War Correspondent (henceforth the letters, W.C. appear after his name).
In 1973, Bro. Del was one of the founding members of the Committee for Pan-Afrikanist Development (CPAD), which was to be his major vehicle for our people's liberation. Bro. Del has studied and covered the violent elections in Jamaica, actively participated in a fact finding team on the island of Greneda weeks before its invasion by the U.S. He also has traveled and studied the situation in southern Afrika.
As a member of C.P.A.D. Bro. Del participated in many programs including: aiding the students who had to flee South Afrika after the Soweto rebellion on June 16, 1976; aiding the Zimbabwean Freedom Fighters in the war against Britian, South Afrika and the vicious Rhodesian gangsters; and supplying provisions to the Haitians washing up on Amerikkkan shores. Bro. Del also was an untiring contributer in C.P.A.D's educational, self-help and community organizing programs. Bro. Del wrote many articles, pamphlets, videos, music and books on the world-wide black struggle for liberation.
